The largest anesthesia-related educational event in the world is going to feel pretty small when you’re in the new and improved ASA Connection Center. With so many sessions and events demanding your time, we’ve redesigned the Connection Center so you can maximize your experience with the minimum amount of time and effort.
“For an association meeting, there are generally three reasons people attend — continuing medical education, to do business with their peers and industry, and for networking,” said Danielle Urbina, CMP, ASA Director of Meetings and Exhibits. “For ANESTHESIOLOGY 2015, we’re adding the networking aspect to the Connection Center so you can satisfy all three of those elements at the same time and in the same place.”
At the heart of the Connection Center are the nearly 300 exhibiting companies displaying the latest products and services that will help keep your practice on the cutting edge of science and quality patient care.
Building upon last year’s success, the Connection Center will feature two Industry Product Theaters and the Product and Technology Experience.
No Break in the Action
For the first time, ASA will offer meeting attendees dedicated break and lunch times so you won’t miss any programming and you’ll have unprecedented opportunity to network with your peers and exhibitors as they congregate in the Connection Center.
Another new feature — refreshments will be served during break times. And the ASA Bistro is back by popular demand, offering you a wide variety of culinary options in a comfortable and convenient setting.
Charging Up, Sitting Down
Is your laptop or smartphone running low on power? Take advantage of the charging stations within the lounges at the Connection Center. It’s the best way to charge your devices while you recharge your feet.
Resource Center
As always, ASA staff representing various departments will be on hand in the Resource Center, where you can get answers to questions about membership, check out what’s new in the Society and pick up registration bags and other items useful during your meeting experience.
